The Department of Histology and Cytology held an academic course as part of the Summer School. The classes, dedicated to the topic “Pathology of the Excretory System”, were conducted in an offline format and lasted for 60 hours.
The course was delivered by Associate Professor, PhD, Darkhan Uzbekov and Senior Lecturer Madina Imanbayeva.
During the sessions, students studied the structure of the excretory system organs and the main pathological changes, including inflammation, ischemia, dystrophy, necrosis, and tumors.
Madina Imanbayeva presented materials on histology and the endocrine function of the kidneys under normal conditions, while Darkhan Uzbekov gave lectures on pathologies, diagnostic issues, and forensic histology.
The course sparked interest among students due to its practical orientation and illustrative histological examples. The training deepened their knowledge in cytology and histopathology and contributed to the development of clinical thinking.
At the end of the course, participants were awarded certificates.
