As part of the Summer School program, the Department of Anesthesiology and Intensive Care №1 conducted a “Practical Course in Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation”.
During this course, participants studied the fundamentals of cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), including theoretical aspects and practical techniques. They also mastered the use of appropriate medical equipment.
Through this course, students acquired essential knowledge and skills in providing emergency care in cases of cardiac and respiratory arrest, including artificial respiration techniques and external cardiac massage. Under the supervision of instructors, students also completed practical CPR training on mannequins, including simulated emergency scenarios.
For the second consecutive year, third-year General Medicine student Diana Lee participated in the course. Despite her young age, Diana demonstrates high academic ability and successfully engages in practical training.
Upon completion of the course, students enhanced their emergency decision-making skills by participating in clinical case discussions and practicing the use of various medications and intensive care equipment.
