The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology №1 of Astana Medical University successfully conducted the Summer School on the topic “Operative Obstetrics and Gynecology. Reproductology”.

The program aimed to deepen students’ knowledge in the field of obstetrics, gynecology, and reproductive medicine, as well as to develop practical skills.

Classes were held at clinical sites including City Multidisciplinary Hospital No. 3 (Obstetric Unit), ECOMed Clinic, and IRM Clinic. The Summer School participants were students admitted on the basis of personal applications.

The program included theoretical lectures and practical sessions: hands-on training with mannequins, participation in obstetric and gynecological surgeries, and engagement in academic conferences on the following topics:

·         “Preserving Women's Reproductive Health in Routine Gynecological Practice”

·         “Patient Routing in Cases of Infertility”

The Summer School provided students with the opportunity to apply their knowledge in real-world settings and gain exposure to modern approaches in obstetrics and gynecology.

Astana Medical University continues to implement its Summer School program for undergraduate, internship, and other levels of medical education.
