The Kazakhstan delegation, headed by Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan Akmaral Alnazarova and joined by leaders of the country’s leading academic and medical institutions, took part in the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York.

As part of the visit, representatives of Kazakhstan visited Bellevue Hospital and the New York Simulation Center for the Health Sciences (NYSIM). During meetings with the leadership of major U.S. medical institutions, discussions focused on expanding international cooperation, implementing joint educational programs, exchanging expertise, and introducing innovative technologies into Kazakhstan’s healthcare system.

Special attention was given to learning about modern practices in simulation-based medical training and education, which are key to improving the quality of medical education and enhancing the professional competencies of healthcare specialists.

Kazakhstan’s participation in such high-level events under the auspices of the UN highlights the country’s openness to international collaboration, the strengthening of partnerships, and integration into the global medical community. This is not only an important diplomatic step, but also an investment in the future health of the nation.
