AMU on an International Platform: Shaping the Future of Sustainable Healthcare
The event brought together leading specialists in medicine, ecology, and healthcare, representatives of government bodies, and students to discuss global challenges affecting public health and the development of healthcare systems.
Participants paid special attention to the impact of climate change, urbanization, and environmental pollution on human health. In this context, educational and research institutions play an important role in shaping new approaches to training specialists, implementing innovations, and developing interdisciplinary research.
For medical universities, participation in such conferences is important not only for sharing experiences but also for adapting academic programs, introducing environmentally oriented practices, and promoting the concept of “planetary health – human health”.
University staff noted that the conference became a source of new ideas and practices that will be applied in their further work. The experience gained will enable AMU to strengthen areas related to sustainable development and planetary health and to train specialists capable of addressing modern healthcare challenges.
