Applications are now open for students to participate in the Amgen Scholars 2026 international summer research program.
Amgen Scholars is a global summer research initiative supported by the Amgen Foundation, aimed at developing students’ scientific potential in biomedicine, molecular and biological sciences, pharmacology, and related disciplines. Within the program, participants have the opportunity to work in research laboratories of leading universities worldwide under the supervision of academic mentors.
Program goal: to provide students with international research experience and strengthen competencies in laboratory practice, research methods, and participation in scientific projects.
Format: in-person research internships including laboratory work, seminars, and symposium participation.
Location: leading universities in Europe, Asia, and worldwide (e.g., LMU Munich, University of Cambridge, National University of Singapore, University of Tokyo, Kyoto University, etc.).
Funding: stipend, accommodation, partial travel expenses, and participation in program events are covered by the organizers depending on the host university’s conditions.
Students of the medical university (Bachelor’s level, years 2–4) in the following fields are eligible to apply: medicine, dentistry, pediatrics, public health, preventive medicine, pharmacy, and nursing.
Participation is research-oriented and does not involve clinical practice.
