From 26 to 28 May 2026, ORPHEUS 2026 will take place in Budapest, Hungary, hosted at the Center for Basic Medical Sciences of Semmelweis University.
ORPHEUS (Organization for PhD Education in Biomedicine and Health Sciences) is an international association bringing together universities and experts dedicated to the development and standardization of doctoral (PhD) education in biomedicine and health sciences. The annual ORPHEUS conference is one of Europe’s leading platforms for discussing the quality of medical research training.
Conference Theme:
“Sustainable Networks Through Interdisciplinary Partnerships — The Key to Enhancing the Quality of Doctoral Education”
Conference Objectives:
To discuss modern approaches for ensuring the quality, sustainability, and competitiveness of doctoral programs in biomedicine and health sciences, and to foster international and interdisciplinary academic collaboration.

Abstracts are invited for oral and poster sessions, as well as for the ORPHEUS PhD Scholarships.
