Within the framework of the academic mobility program, Ellada Ibrahimova, a 2nd-year resident of Azerbaijan Medical University, completed an internship at Astana Medical University.
For three months, she studied at the Department of Adult and Pediatric Ophthalmology in the field of “Clinical Ophthalmology”. The program included theoretical training and practical work at the specialized clinic Astana Vision.
During the training period, Ellada Ibrahimova participated in the educational and clinical processes, became familiar with modern methods of diagnosing and treating ophthalmological diseases, and improved her practical skills under the supervision of the department’s specialists. Upon completion of the program, it was fully mastered and 26 academic credits were awarded.
The academic mobility program allowed the resident to deepen her knowledge in the field of clinical ophthalmology and gain practical professional experience.
At the end of the program, Ellada Ibrahimova expressed her gratitude to the university leadership and staff:
“I would like to express my sincere gratitude to the Rector of Astana Medical University, Anar Akylbekovna Turmukhambetova, the coordinator of the International Cooperation Department, Merey Kanatovna Satayeva, the staff of the Department of Adult and Pediatric Ophthalmology headed by the Head of the Department, Honorary Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Zeynet Ugubaevna Akhmedyanova, as well as Associate Professor, Candidate of Medical Sciences Elvira Ibragimovna Kadralieva for the opportunity to complete an internship at the clinical base Astana Vision.”
It should be noted that the Astana Vision clinic actively cooperates with Astana Medical University, providing future ophthalmologists with opportunities for internships, training, and practical experience.
