NPJSC “Astana Medical University” continues to strengthen international cooperation in medical education. The University has officially launched the “Avicenna: Healthcare” program, implemented with the support of the Kazakhstan Agency of International Development “KazAID” and the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency (TIKA).

As part of the program, the university accepted 12 fourth-year students of the General Medicine educational program from leading medical universities in Central Asia: – Osh State University (Kyrgyz Republic); – Abuali ibn Sino Tajik State Medical University (Republic of Tajikistan).

The educational process will take place from April 2 to April 22, 2026, at the university's clinical facilities, including the study of the disciplines "Fundamentals of Surgical Diseases" and "Fundamentals of Obstetrics and Gynecology."

The program is aimed at developing students' professional competencies, expanding academic mobility, and strengthening regional cooperation in the field of medical education. Special attention is paid to practice-oriented learning, experience exchange, and integration of the best educational practices.

The implementation of this initiative is made possible through cooperation with KazAID and TIKA, which highlights the university's strategic focus on development.
