On April 9–10, 2026, the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Science Days – 2026,” dedicated to the 115th anniversary of Fatima Nurgazieva, was held in Bishkek (Kyrgyz Republic) at Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I. K. Akhunbaev.
First-year residents in the specialty “Oncology” from Astana Medical University participated in the conference:

- Denis Milyukov
- Nurdos Oryngaliyev
The purpose of their participation was to develop research competencies, present the results of their own scientific work, and exchange international experience in modern oncology, precision medicine, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
During the conference, participants attended presentations by leading international experts, explored contemporary approaches to cancer diagnosis and treatment, and became familiar with innovative technologies. They also actively participated in scientific discussions and thematic sessions.
It should be noted that the residents were selected based on their academic performance, research activity, and active involvement in the scientific work of the Department of Oncology, which enabled them to достойно represent the university at the international level.
Following a competitive selection process involving young scientists, master’s students, and residents from various countries (Russian Federation, Japan, Germany, Latvia, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and France), our representatives achieved prize-winning positions and were awarded a 3rd Degree Diploma.
