On May 21–22, 2026, the Astana Medical University will host the international scientific and practical conference “New Aspects in Otorhinolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery” within the framework of the Eurasian Assembly of Otorhinolaryngologists. The event is timed to coincide with the 85th anniversary of the Honored Worker of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Honorary Head of the Department of Otorhinolaryngology of the University, Rais Kazkenovich Tulebaev. The forum will be attended by leading scientists, practicing doctors, medical university professors, young specialists, residents, master's and doctoral students from Kazakhstan, Russia, Uzbekistan, Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Poland, Bulgaria and other countries.

The conference program includes plenary sessions, presentations by international experts, discussions on modern approaches to the diagnosis and treatment of ENT diseases, head and neck surgery, the introduction of innovative technologies, interdisciplinary collaboration, and the development of high-tech medical care. On May 21, the Eurasian Assembly of Otolaryngologists will hold a session and a solemn celebration of the anniversary of Academician R.K. Tulebaev. The main scientific program will take place on May 22 in the university's auditorium.
