On September 11, 2026, Astana Medical University will host the International Scientific and Practical Conference “Preventive Medicine as a Pathway to Quality and Healthy Longevity: Conference 2026”, dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the outstanding scientist and academician Yerbolat Derbisaliyevich Dalenov.
The conference will provide a platform for professional dialogue among leading experts, academic staff, young researchers and students united by a common goal: to discuss contemporary approaches to preserving population health, advancing preventive medicine and fostering a culture of healthy longevity.
The conference will focus on public health, risk factor management, modern preventive technologies, and evidence-based approaches to increasing life expectancy while maintaining quality of life.

A special part of the programme will feature practical master classes, which will begin on September 10 at the E.D. Dalenov Research Institute of Preventive Medicine. Participants will have an opportunity to expand their professional competencies in artificial intelligence, reflexology, nutritional science and sports nutrition.

“Artificial Intelligence in Education and Science: From Prompt to Research Article” - 4 hours, free of charge.
“The Most Effective Techniques in Reflexology” - 6 hours, participation fee: KZT 10,200.
“Modern Nutritional Science: Microbiota, Food Quality and Rational Selection of Dietary Supplements” - 6 hours, participation fee: KZT 10,200.
“Sports Nutrition from an Evidence-Based Medicine Perspective: Efficacy, Safety and Practical Application” - 8 hours, participation fee: KZT 13,600.
“How to Properly Plan a Diet: An Algorithm for Calculating Calories, Proteins, Fats and Carbohydrates (CPFC) and Common Practical Mistakes” - 8 hours, participation fee: KZT 13,600.
The conference will be held in offline and online formats. The working languages are Kazakh, Russian and English.
Participation in the conference is free of charge. Participant registration will begin on September 11 at 08:30. Certificates of participation will be issued following the event.
