NJSC Astana Medical University invites faculty members and students to participate in a seminar organized by the School of Nursing within the framework of the Visiting Professor Program.
The seminar will be delivered by Professor Mojtaba Vaismoradi, Professor at the Faculty of Nursing and Health Sciences, Nord University (Bodø, Norway), and Adjunct Research Professor at Charles Sturt University (New South Wales, Australia).
Professor Mojtaba Vaismoradi is a recognized expert in nursing and qualitative research methodology. According to Scopus, his h-index is 34, reflecting his strong research publication record and the significant citation impact of his work.
Seminar topic: Qualitative Research Methodology: Approaches, Data Collection, and Analysis with a Focus on Qualitative Content Analysis and Thematic Analysis

Target audience: Faculty members and students of NJSC Astana Medical University who are interested in qualitative research methodology and developing their qualitative data analysis skills.
During the seminar, participants will explore:
- key approaches to conducting qualitative research;
- methods and specific features of qualitative data collection;
- fundamental principles of qualitative data analysis;
- practical application of qualitative content analysis;
- methods of conducting thematic analysis;
- use of qualitative research findings in the preparation of scientific publications.
