DEAR RESIDENTS OF THE 2nd–3rd YEARS OF TRAINING!
Within the framework of the academic mobility programme for the 2026–2027 academic year, a competition is announced for: Kyrgyz State Medical Academy named after I.K. Akhunbaev (Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan)
Specialties and number of places:
1. Anesthesiology and Reanimatology (adult, pediatric) — 2 residents;
2. Forensic Medical Examination — 2 residents;
3. Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (adult, pediatric) — 2 residents;
4. Traumatology and Orthopedics (pediatric) — 2 residents;
5. Infectious Diseases (adult, pediatric) — 2 residents.
Total number of places — 10.
Training period — October 2026 (exact dates will be announced additionally).
Document submission deadline: 11/09/2026
Funding:
Partial funding (round-trip airfare at the expense of the University up to 170 MRP, tuition is free). Accommodation and meals are covered by the participant.
REQUIREMENTS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION:
1. absence of academic debt;
2. absence of disciplinary sanctions;
3. GPA – from 2.6 (for those applying repeatedly – 3.6);
4. prize-winning places in international and republican olympiads/conferences (preferable).
DOCUMENTS REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPATION:
1. CV with photo;
2. Motivation letter (signed by the resident);
3. Recommendation letter from the Head of the Department with signature;
4. Photo 3×4 (2 pcs.);
5. Copy of passport;
6. Copies of transcripts (diploma supplements): bachelor’s degree, internship and residency;
7. Application signed by the Head of the Department of Residency and Clinical Work (Akpolatova Gulnur);
8. Certificates and diplomas for prize-winning places (1st, 2nd, 3rd place) in international and republican olympiads/conferences in medical specialties (if available).
ONLY CITIZENS OF THE REPUBLIC OF KAZAKHSTAN MAY PARTICIPATE IN THE COMPETITION.
