DEAR RESIDENTS IN YEARS 2–3 OF TRAINING!

As part of the Academic Mobility Program for the 2026–2027 academic year, a competition is being announced for residents to undertake training at the Azerbaijan State Advanced Training Institute for Doctors named after A. Aliyev, Baku, Azerbaijan.

1.     Obstetrics and Gynecology (Adult) — 2 places;

2.     Pediatric Surgery — 2 places;

3.     Allergology and Immunology (Adult and Pediatric) — 2 places;

4.     Oncology (Adult) — 2 places;

5.     Anesthesiology and Resuscitation (Adult) — 2 places.

Total — 10 places.

Training period: October 2026.
Exact dates will be announced additionally.

Application deadline: September 15, 2026.

Partial financial support is provided:

·        round-trip airfare — covered by the University, up to an amount of 170 MCI;

·        training — free of charge;

·        accommodation and meals — at the participant’s own expense.

1.     No outstanding academic debts;

2.     No disciplinary sanctions;

3.     GPA of at least 2.6;

4.     For applicants participating in the competition for the second or subsequent time — GPA of at least 3.6;

5.     Prize-winning places in international and national-level Olympiads and conferences will be considered an advantage.

3.     Motivation letter signed by the resident;

4.     Recommendation letter signed by the Head of the Department;

5.     Two 3×4 cm photographs;

6.     Copy of passport;

7.     Copies of transcripts (diploma supplements) for Bachelor’s degree, Internship, and Residency;

8.     Application signed by G.M. Akpolatova, Head of the Department of Residency and Clinical Work;

9.     Certificates and diplomas confirming 1st, 2nd, or 3rd place in international and national Olympiads and conferences in medical specialties — if available.

Only citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are eligible to participate in the competition.
