As part of the Academic Mobility Programme for the 2026–2027 academic year, applications are invited for a study placement at the following foreign universities:

1.     Tashkent State Medical University – 10 places.

Duration of study: 2 weeks.

Specialties:

1. Neurology (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;
2. Radiology – 2;
3. Endocrinology (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;
4. Dermatovenereology (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;
5. General Surgery – 2.

Partial funding: round-trip airfare is covered by the University, up to a total amount of 170 MRP; tuition is free of charge; meals are at the student's own expense; accommodation is free of charge.

Application period: 25 September 2026 – 2 October 2026.

2.   Abu Ali ibn Sino Bukhara State Medical Institute – 12 places

Study period: 2 weeks.

Fields of study:

1.   Psychiatry (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;

2.   Ophthalmology (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;

3.   Obstetrics and Gynecology (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;

4.   Cardiology (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;

5.   Neonatology – 2;

6.   Pulmonology – 2.

3. Samarkand State Medical University – 10 places

Study period: 2 weeks.

3.     Traumatology and Orthopedics (Adult) – 2;

4.     Urology and Andrology (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;

5.     Emergency Medicine (Adult, Pediatric) – 2;

6.     Pediatrics – 2;

7.     Internal Medicine – 2.

Application period: 25 September 2026 – 2 October 2026.

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:

1. No outstanding academic requirements or failed courses;

2. No disciplinary sanctions;

3. A minimum GPA of 2.6; applicants participating in the academic mobility competition for a second time must have a minimum GPA of 3.6;

4. Awards or prizes received at international or national academic competitions and conferences are considered an advantage.

Documents required for application:

1. CV/résumé;

2. Motivation letter;

3. Letter of recommendation;

4. Two 3 × 4 cm photographs;

5. Passport;

6. Academic transcripts, including diploma supplements for bachelor’s, internship, and residency programmes;

7. Application form. The form is provided in the attachment. Before submitting the documents, the application form must be signed by the Head of the Department of Residency and Clinical Affairs at 47 Abai Street, Office 716 or 717.

Only citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan are eligible to participate in the competition.

SUBMISSION OF APPLICATIONS

Applications must be submitted to the Centre for International Cooperation from 25 September 2026 – 2 October 2026.
