How can we manage stress, better understand our emotional state and recognise the signs of psychological strain in time? At Toregeldy Sharmanov National Medical University, staff and students had the opportunity to assess their psycho-emotional well-being and receive recommendations from specialists.
The Centre for Epidemiology and Management supported a three-day mental health initiative held at the University as part of an initiative by the World Federation for Mental Health.
As part of the event, staff and students were invited to take two psychological assessments: the Luscher Colour Test and a method for assessing mental activation, interest, emotional tone, tension and comfort. These assessments provided insights into participants’ temporary psychological states, underlying needs, stress resilience, work capacity and emotional well-being at the time of testing.
Based on the assessment results, an individual report was prepared for each participant, along with recommendations on maintaining and improving mental health.
Caring for mental health begins with paying attention to yourself. Recognising emotional strain, understanding your own needs and responding to stress in a timely manner can help maintain inner balance and cope more effectively with everyday challenges.
