On 4 November 2026, representatives of the Heart Rhythm Research Institute at Sharmanov National Medical University took part in an international conference featuring a masterclass titled “Leadless Cardiac Pacing Technologies.” Hosted by the M. Mirrakhimov National Center for Cardiology and Therapy in the Kyrgyz Republic, the event brought together specialists from Kyrgyzstan, France, and Kazakhstan.

In his opening remarks, A. S. Abdrakhmanov, Director of the Heart Rhythm Research Institute, highlighted the importance of sharing clinical experience to bring advances in arrhythmia treatment into practice. The conference’s special guest was Éloi Marijon, Professor at Université Paris Cité and Head of Cardiology at the Georges Pompidou European Hospital.

Participants discussed current approaches to diagnosing and treating heart rhythm disorders, clinical guidelines, and prospects for the use of leadless pacemakers. During the masterclass, specialists reviewed implantation techniques for Abbott’s Aveir™ VR and Aveir™ DR systems and discussed their use through clinical case studies.
