Currently, in the Republic of Kazakhstan, more than 4,000 specialist doctors engaged in medical examination of citizens and military personnel need systematic postgraduate training in military medical examination.

Every year, several hundred conscripts and contract service servicemen are dismissed with diseases unrelated to military service, mainly due to a mistake by doctors due to poor knowledge of military medical examination issues.

In order to improve the quality of medical examination of citizens called up for military service, military personnel and their family members, legal and social protection of the population, prevention of cases of medical errors, advanced training courses on military medical examination for doctors of all specialties of military medical commissions and medical organizations have been opened at the NAO "Astana Medical University".

The courses are organized in accordance with the Order of the Minister of Health of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated March 14, 2017 No. 165 "On approval of Standard programs for advanced training and retraining of medical and pharmaceutical personnel" according to the cycle "Fundamentals of medical examination, military medical and medical flight examination".

The courses are designed for doctors of all specialties of medical organizations of local health authorities, military medical commissions under local military administration bodies, units and institutions of state bodies that have units dealing with VVE issues.

The teaching staff of the NAO "Astana Medical University" and specialists of the Central Military Medical Commission of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Kazakhstan and other law enforcement agencies are involved in the training of students.

Advanced training courses are designed for 120 hours (3 weeks), including 30 hours of them devoted to the examination of the quality of medical services, medical and social expertise.

The cost of training is 40,000 (forty thousand) tenge, with the use of distance learning technology - 44,000 (forty-four thousand) tenge, field training cycles – 60,000 (sixty thousand) tenge.

When paying for travel expenses by customers (based on 2 people) and when recruiting a group of 15 or more people, it is possible to organize field trips by region.

Upon completion of the advanced training courses, certificates of the established sample will be issued.
