Within the framework of the procedure of international primary specialized accreditation of 4 educational programs:
- 6B10118 "Pediatrics";
- 7M10122 "Management in Healthcare (MBA)";
- 7M10119 "Epidemiology";
- 7M10120 "Hygiene"
The composition of the external expert commission consisted of representatives of domestic and foreign medical universities, heads of laboratories of research centers and heads of medical institutions.
The University management, heads of departments, heads of departments worked online with an external expert commission. The topic of interviews with University staff were:
- strategic development and international cooperation in the context of accredited educational programs;
- financial model and social policy of the University in the formation of tuition fees, provision of students with places in the University dormitory;
- internal quality assurance policy in higher and postgraduate education, planning, monitoring of implementation, provision of resources, evaluation of educational programs, work with departments.
Educational trajectories of students and methods used in teaching by the teaching staff.
During the implementation of the live visit to the University, the experts got acquainted with the internal documents and visited the clinical bases of the University.
The work of the external expert commission was organized by the Center for Accreditation and Rating of the Department of Academic Activities.
Following the results of the procedure for passing the international primary specialized accreditation, the ECA Accreditation Council was held on September 16 of this year, where it was decided to accredit the declared 4 educational programs for a period of 5 years.
Congratulations to the entire staff, faculty involved in the development of educational programs, heads of departments, students of the University with the successful passage of international specialized accreditation, who demonstrated achievements in ensuring the quality of higher education and sustainable development of one of the famous universities of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
