On February 15, 2021, within the framework of the International Community program "Physiology Without Borders", an open lecture on the topic "Heart Physiology" was held for students of the Tambov State University named after G. R. Derzhavin. The lecture was conducted by Svetlana Shutova, Candidate of Biological Sciences, Associate Professor of the Department of Medical Biology with the course of Infectious Diseases of the Medical Institute. The lecture was delivered at a high scientific and educational level with the use of modern digital technologies and active involvement of students in the dialogue. At the end of the lecture, a round table was held, moderated by the Head of the Department of Normal Physiology of the Medical University of Astana (Kazakhstan) Kureish Khamchiev. Leading physiologists from different countries took part in the discussion of the lecture: Firuz Shukurov, Fariza Halimova (Tajikistan), Irina Kononets (Kyrgyzstan), Igor Shakhmatov, Vyacheslav Vdovin, Dmitry Kuvshinov (Russia), Farida Mindubayeva, Nuria Kharisova, Salima Ibraeva (Kazakhstan). The scientists highly appreciated the quality of the lecture, thanked the lecturer, and also gave some recommendations. Such events, which are planned to be held in the future within the framework of "Physiology Without Borders", will become a good school of knowledge for students, a platform for the exchange of pedagogical experience, as well as a reliable foundation for further strengthening of friendship and cooperation between the countries.
