On December 24, 2021, at the Khatlon State Medical University (Dangara district, Tajikistan), the Republican Scientific and Practical Conference of GOU KSMU (II year) was held on the topic: "MODERN MEDICINE AND MODERN EDUCATION", dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the State Independence of the Republic of Tajikistan and the 5th anniversary of the Khatlon State Medical University.

At the conference, the head of the Department of Normal Physiology Khamchiev K.M. made a presentation on "Experimental pulmonary edema and ways to optimize artificial ventilation modes used in COVID-19 conditions."

Kureish Mavlovich made his presentation at the section "Theoretical medical disciplines". The message aroused great interest among scientists from different countries and Professor Khamchiev K.M. it was proposed to determine the topic and lead the leadership of the doctoral dissertation of the applicant Farid Kurbonov of the T.G. Abuali Ibni Sino (Dushanbe).

Other members of the department took part in the work of the forum. Master of Medicine, teacher of the Department of Normal Physiology Zhanbolatova Venera Talgatovna and 3rd year student of the Faculty of General Medicine Zarema Khamchieva presented their abstracts to the collection of the conference.
