Today the famous scientist in the field of otorhinolaryngology, Academician of the National Academy of Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Honored Worker of Kazakhstan, former Rector of our University, Honorary Professor Rais Tulebayev celebrates his 80th anniversary!

From 1997 to 2001, Pr. Rais Tulebayev worked as the rector of the Akmola State Medical Academy. He is the author of fundamental research on occupational pathology of ENT organs, studied the influence of working conditions and occupational incidence of ENT organs in workers of chemical and metallurgical enterprises in Kazakhstan. The results of many years of research are reflected in numerous scientific publications, in the original journals of the near and far abroad, as well as in his educational publications on otorhinolaryngology.

13 doctoral and 37 candidate dissertations were defended under the leadership of R.K. Tulebayev.
