Academic mobility of the resident on the specialty "Neurology, including pediatric neurology" Khairat Elmira at Lokman Hekim University (Turkey).
During the clinical internship, resident Khairat Elmira got acquainted with the work of the neurological department, took part in the treatment and diagnostic process of patients, mastered the technique of lumbar puncture and electroneuromyography. During the internship, Khairat Elmira was interested in preparing a patient for surgery with a diagnosis of Parkinson's disease, as well as participating in the operation - a method of deep brain stimulation. Elmira attended a lecture course on demyelinating diseases of the central nervous system, tunnel mononeuropathy and successfully passed a special exam.
At the end of the clinical internship, Khairat Elmira received International Certificate from the Rector of Lokman Hekim University prof. Dr. Bülent Gümüşel and Dean of the Faculty of Medicine Prof Dr Mehmet Doğanay
