On March 3, with the participation of the akim of the city of Nur-Sultan A. Kulginov, an online conference was held to discuss the results of the Extraordinary XXII Congress of the Nur Otan Party.

The conference was attended by the rector of the Astana Medical University Kamalzhan Nadyrov, as well as party activists, heads of city organizations, deputies of the city maslikhat, representatives of Zhas Otan, political scientists and entrepreneurs.

In his speech, Akim of the city A. Kulginov noted that at the congress the Chairman of the Nur Otan party K.K. Tokayev supported the proposal to rename the party to Amanat. After the January events, a number of meetings were held with labor collectives to discuss such issues as a critical attitude towards the authorities, the adoption of a pension reform, and social issues requiring urgent resolution. In this regard, it became necessary to apply new methods of the party’s work.

The rebranding of the party includes not only changing the name of the party, but also changing the entire program of modernization and increasing transparency, increasing the efficiency of feedback from the population, strengthening party control, and completely updating the format of work of public receptions. For this, the discussion platforms should be created. Thus, the work of people’s representatives will be evaluated by the results of their activities.

Renewal and openness will become the two trends of the modernized party. The new approach and methods of work will strengthen the political opportunities and electoral potential of the party.
