Today, on May 27, 2022, a motivational lecture was held by the Chairman of the Board of the National Association "Primary Health Care" - Abzalova Rosa Abzalovna for teaching staff and students of the NAO MUA.

Roza Abzalovna is a Doctor of Medical Sciences, professor, excellent student of Healthcare of the Republic of Kazakhstan. She was awarded the Order "Kurmet", the Order "Ave Vitae" from the Association of Doctors and Pharmacists of Kazakhstan for her great contribution to saving people's lives and protecting human health, the badge "Altyn Dariger". Winner of the Academician T. Sharmanov Award for outstanding contribution to the creation of an integrated medical and social model of primary health care, recognized in the country and abroad. She became one of the 100 outstanding women of Kazakhstan.

R. Abzalova's lecture included 2 parts, the first was devoted to the topic of a socially oriented PHC model in Kazakhstan, the second on the basics of social work in healthcare. The lecturer emphasized the importance of primary health care in the healthcare system and the role and perspective of socially oriented medicine in general.

A holistic approach in primary health care is a set of medical, socio–psychological and preventive services aimed at restoring, maintaining, and developing the health of the population through meeting its needs and needs to ensure social well-being and improve the quality of life

A socially oriented doctor is a specialist who, on the basis of special knowledge and skills on the basics of providing medical and social assistance to the population, implements this type of activity in practice independently or in cooperation with a social worker, a psychologist and includes patients themselves in the wellness process together with their relatives and members of the nearest community. And also encourages patients to take responsibility for their health, lead a healthy lifestyle, exclude risk factors of diseases from life through increased literacy, awareness and social activity

Social work contributes to social changes in society, solving problems in human relationships and strengthening human freedom and his right to a decent life. Based on the theories of human behavior and social systems, social work is included in the process at the stage when a person interacts with the environment. Human rights and social justice are fundamental principles of social work.
