NJSC "Astana Medical University" is implementing an educational master's degree program in the specialty "7M10123 – Medical Law".

      Undergraduates will receive not only a fundamental education, but also the necessary skills and professional competencies for a successful career in both public and private organizations, and in the field of public administration of the healthcare system, which is experiencing a great shortage of lawyers familiar with the specifics of healthcare.

      The basic courses allow students to receive not only specialized education in the field of legal regulation of relations in the field of health protection, the activities of healthcare entities related to the provision of medical services, but also to acquire general legal knowledge necessary for a future career.

      The program provides students with the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the legislation in the field of healthcare, to gain knowledge about the rights and obligations of medical and pharmaceutical workers, patients, to get acquainted with the peculiarities of labor relations of medical and pharmaceutical workers, to consider the grounds and conditions for bringing to legal responsibility, to learn how to analyze and interpret the norms of legislation in relation to a specific situation, to give a legal assessment of offenses.
