Today, on June 17, 2022, the Republican scientific and practical conference "Actual problems in the protection of women's reproductive potential" began its work at the Astana Medical University.

The participants of the event noted that special attention is paid to the issue of women's reproductive health in the Republic of Kazakhstan. The Head of State called the medical and demographic situation in the republic, which is primarily related to the protection of the health of mothers and children, one of the primary tasks for building a New Kazakhstan.

To date, the Republic has adopted a National Strategy for the Protection of Women's reproductive Health, within the framework of which a number of projects are being implemented to improve the maternity and childhood services.

The conference program is rich, it will last two days, it will feature reports from representatives of medical universities and scientific organizations, practical healthcare of Azerbaijan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Turkey and Uzbekistan.

The organizers of the conference are confident that the exchange of experience within the framework of this event will give a new impetus and arouse the interest of young specialists in new knowledge in the protection of women's reproductive potential.

The conference also provides for plenary and breakout sessions, during which participants will discuss topical issues in the following areas:

- problems of obstetric and gynecological service;

- high-risk pregnancy and childbirth;

- issues of operative obstetrics and gynecology;

- the impact of COVID 19 on reproductive health;

- actual problems of pediatric and adolescent gynecology, etc.

A series of presentations will be devoted to the use of digital technologies in educational processes, as well as the exchange of experience and the development of partnership between universities of near and far abroad.

The conference participants expressed confidence that the event became a kind of international platform for the exchange of experience and ideas, helped to strengthen cooperation between educational institutions, popularize scientific research, and actively involve students in research activities. During the two-day event, the creation of joint scientific projects, startups will be discussed, and measures will be identified to develop comprehensive programs to increase the reproductive potential of the population.

At the end of the event, it is planned to issue an electronic certificate of the participant.
