Department of Legal Support

Goals:

1) Ensuring compliance with the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan in the activities of the University;

2) Protection of the rights and legitimate interests of the University;

3) Organization of legal education at the University;

4) Participation in the development of drafts of legal and regulatory legal acts, contracts, procedural documents, as well as other University documents of a legal nature;

5) Monitoring compliance with documents regulating the internal activities of the University;

6) Providing legal assistance to employees and structural units of the University.

Activity:

1) representation of the interests of the University in court in accordance with the established procedure, as well as in other organizations when considering legal issues of the University's activities;

2) monitoring of compliance of internal regulatory documents of the University with the norms of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

3) participation in the development of drafts of legal and regulatory legal acts, procedural documents, as well as other legal documents;

4) organization of events on legal education at the University;

5) analyzing the state of lawsuit work, court practice on disputes involving the University in order to identify the main causes and conditions that led to the relevant court proceedings and make proposals for their elimination and bringing to responsibility of guilty officials;

6) ensuring the adoption of measures for the execution of judicial acts that have entered into force;

7) written and oral counseling of the University staff on legal issues, providing legal assistance in drafting legal documents, etc.»
