STAGE I – REGISTRATION AND PASSING OF THE UNT

Applicants for registration in the database of UNT participants submit an application online through the website of the National Testing Center for the main UNT for 2 attempts, using the following link: https://app.testcenter.kz/.

Persons wishing to enroll in the field of education "Healthcare" pass the UNT in the following subjects: history of Kazakhstan, mathematical literacy, reading literacy, chemistry, biology.

STAGE II – PASSING THE PSYCHOMETRIC EXAM

Admission of students according to educational programs:

- Nursing,

- Medicine,

- Dentistry,

- Pediatrics,

Medical and preventive work, is carried out taking into account the results of a special exam in the form of a Psychometric exam, which can be passed at any medical university of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Psychometric testing is evaluated in the form of "ADMISSION" or "NON ADMISSION".

The results of psychometric testing are announced on the day of the event.

According to the results of psychometric testing, the applicant is issued an extract from the admission statement for presentation to medical universities, regardless of the place of passing a special exam.

The schedule of registration and deadlines for passing the psychometric exam in the NAO "Astana Medical University" is posted on the official Internet resource of the University

To pass the psychometric exam, the applicant submits the following documents to the admission committee of the NAO "Astana Medical University":

1) a document on general secondary or technical and vocational, post-secondary education (original);

2) two photos measuring 3 x 4 centimeters;

3) a copy of the identity document;

4) UNT certificate (if available);

5) a copy of the document confirming the presence of one of the sports categories and (or) sports titles established by paragraph 1 of Article 35 of the Law of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated July 1, 2014 "On Physical Culture and Sports" (if any).

STAGE III – PARTICIPATION IN THE COMPETITION FOR THE AWARD OF AN EDUCATIONAL GRANT

To participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant for higher education, persons who have secondary, technical, vocational or post-secondary education, who have passed the main UNT and who have scored at least 70 points in the field of education “Health” are allowed to participate in the competition.

At the same time, in the History of Kazakhstan, biology and chemistry it is necessary to score at least 5 points, and in the subjects of Reading Literacy and Mathematical Literacy at least 3 points.

To participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant at the expense of the republican budget, on July 13-20, July 13-24 for regions where a state of emergency has been declared, an applicant submits to the university admissions committee an application and a package of documents specified in the Standard Rules for Admission to Study in an Educational Organization , implementing educational programs of higher and postgraduate education, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan dated October 31, 2018 No. 600.

To participate in the competition for the award of an educational grant at the expense of the local budget (grants of Akimats), the applicant submits an application from 05 to 10 August of this year.

STAGE IV – ADMISSION TO THE UNIVERSITY

List of documents for participation in the competition for the award of an educational grant:

1) a document on general secondary, technical and vocational, post-secondary or higher education (certificate/diploma) (original);

2) identity document, birth certificate (original and 2 copies);

3) UNT certificate (in printed form from the NTC website);

4) 6 photo cards measuring 3 x 4 centimeters (cut and sign the full name and specialty);

5) medical certificate on form 075/u, (original + copy), fluorography snapshot, copy of form 063-U (vaccination card copy);

6) an extract from the statement on passing the psychometric exam (for applicants for educational programs "Medicine", "Pediatrics", "Nursing", "Kinesitherapy", "Occupational Therapy", "Dentistry") (in printed form);

8) a document confirming the pre-emptive right:

- holders of altyn beli, certificate with honors, diploma with honors, badge of distinction for patriotism and active citizenship,

- winners of international Olympiads and competitions of scientific projects (scientific competitions) in general education subjects (awarded with diplomas of the first, second and third degree), international and republican competitions of performers and sports competitions (awarded with diplomas of the first, second and third degree) of the last three years, the list of which is determined by the authorized body in the field of education, as well as the winners of the presidential, republican olympiads and competitions of scientific projects in general education subjects (awarded with diplomas of the first, second and third degree) of the current academic year, provided that their chosen specialty corresponds to the subject of the Olympiad, competition or sports competition,

- persons with documents on technical and vocational, post-secondary education, who have confirmed their qualifications and have at least one year of work experience in the specialty, additionally submit one of the documents provided for in article 35 of the Labor Code Republic of Kazakhstan;

9) documents confirming the granting of a pre-emptive right and a quota for:

• Persons with disabilities of Group I or II, persons with disabilities since childhood, and children with disabilities – (must provide a medical certificate confirming the absence of contraindications for studying under the selected educational program, a certificate confirming the establishment of disability indicating the disability group, and the birth certificate of the child with a disability (original and copy));

• Veterans of military operations in the territories of other states and veterans equated in benefits to veterans of the Great Patriotic War – (standard-form veteran's certificate, a certificate issued by the military commissariat confirming participation in military operations in the territories of other states, or a military ID with a record confirming participation in military operations in the territories of other states);

• Persons of Kazakh nationality who are not citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan – (the original and a notarized copy of the translation of the educational document, a notarized copy of the passport translation, a certificate of recognition (nostrification) of the educational document or a receipt confirming submission for recognition, and a document confirming Kazakh nationality (copy with the original presented for verification));

• Orphans and children left without parental care, as well as citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among young people who lost their parents or were left without parental care before reaching the age of majority – (the status shall be confirmed by a death certificate of one or both parents, documents confirming restriction or deprivation of parental rights, recognition of the parents as missing, declaration of the parents as deceased, recognition of the parents as legally incapacitated or partially incapacitated, imprisonment of the parents, evasion of parental responsibilities or protection of the child's rights and interests, including refusal to take the child from an educational or medical institution, as well as other cases of absence of parental care);

• Children from families raising four or more minor children – (certificate of a mother with many children, birth certificates of all children, identity documents of the parents, and a certificate confirming receipt of state benefits (copy with the original presented for verification));

• children from single-parent families who have had this status for at least three years - children from single-parent families who have had this status for at least three years are confirmed by a divorce certificate, a death certificate of one of the parents, a court decision, a birth certificate of the applicant, and a notarized certificate stating that the parent has not been married for the past three years;

• Children from families raising children with disabilities since childhood or persons with disabilities of Group I or II – (a certificate confirming the disability of the child or the person with a disability being raised in the family, the birth certificate of the child/person with a disability, and the applicant's birth certificate (copy with the original presented for verification)).

• Citizens from among rural youth applying for educational programs aimed at the socio-economic development of rural areas;

• Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan from among rural youth relocating to the regions designated by the Government of the Republic of Kazakhstan;

• Citizens of the Republic of Kazakhstan who have completed the established term of compulsory military service.

When enrolling in the above documents to the admissions committee, you must provide:

1) an application addressed to the Rector of the University in the prescribed form;

2) certificate of the award of an educational grant;

3) registration certificate (for young men, copy);

4) agreement on the provision of educational services.

5) electronic digital signature - EDS (mandatory!) 

Minors (under the age of 18) submit documents in the presence of one of their parents or legal representative. In the case of an applicant being accompanied by another person, a notarized power of attorney issued by one of the parents or legal representative is submitted. 

List of documents provided by the parent or legal representative: 

• identification card of the parent or legal representative (copy and original for verification);

• birth certificate of the applicant (copy and original for verification);

• a notarized power of attorney (in the case of representation by a legal representative or other authorized person).
