Until 1999, he held the positions of assistant and associate professor of the Chair of Pediatric Diseases of the Semipalatinsk State Medical Academy. In the period from 1999 to 2003, he worked as an assistant professor at the Chair of Pediatric Diseases No.1 of the Akmola State Medical Academy. Over the years, he headed the faculties at the Astana Medical University: the Faculty of Secondary Medical Education (2003-2006), the Faculty of Biomedical, Preventive Medicine and Pharmaceuticals (2006-2008), the Faculty of Pediatrics and Oriental Medicine (2008-2010), the Faculty Public Health, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Nursing (2011-2018). In 2019, he was employed by the dean of the Faculty of Dentistry. Due to the change in the structure of the university, since September 2022, all bachelor's degrees have been allocated to separate schools and the dean of the School of "Pediatrics" has been appointed Ph.D., Associate Professor Aitbek Anuarbekovich Karibzhanov.
