General Information
The Professor Gilen Vasilyevich Tsoi Scientific and Educational Center of Surgery was established by order of the Rector of the Non-profit Joint Stock Company “Astana Medical University” on October 10, 2025, as a result of the merger of three surgical departments of the university.
The creation of the Center marked an important step in the development of surgical science and education, aimed at forming an effective national system for integrating scientific research and educational processes in the field of surgery.
Purpose
To establish an effective national system for the development of a dual unity of innovative scientific and educational activities in the field of surgery, ensuring a high level of professional training and the implementation of modern medical technologies.
Mission of the Center
- To create an integrated educational environment in the field of surgery aimed at:
- improving the academic and clinical competencies of students;
- enhancing the quality of professional training;
- strengthening the competitive position of graduates of the “Astana Medical University” NJSC at the national and international levels.
