Didar Rymzhanovna has been working at the Astana Medical University since 1991. Since 2007, she has been the Head of the Chair of Philological disciplines.

Didar Rymzhanovna Zharikova was born in 1968 in Karkaralinsk town of Karaganda region.

In 1991 she graduated from the Philological faculty of Karaganda State University, specialty “Kazakh language and Kazakh literature”. After graduating from Karaganda State University she began her career as a teacher at Tselinograd State Medical University.

In 2010 she defended her thesis, she is a Candidate of Pedagogical sciences.

In 2007 she headed the Chair of Kazakh language.

 She was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Chair for the Development of Languages ​​of Astana city and the badge "Kurmetti Ustaz" for her contribution to the development of education and health care.

The most significant research work of Didar Rymzhanovna is the work "Shipagerlik bayan", dedicated to the issues of traditional medicine. She is the author of teaching aids "Kazakh tili", "Kazakh tilinen zhattyku zhumystary". A number of articles have been published on the pages of domestic and foreign press.

In December 2021 Didar Rymzhanovna was awarded a medal “Тәуелсіздікке 30 жыл”.

In 2021 Didar Rymzhanovna was awarded a medal “Күміс” for a long work.

History of foundation

The Chair of foreign languages has been existing since 1964. The first head of the Chair of foreign languages of Tselinograd Medical Institute was Serdyuk I.P. Then Abramov L.P. was the head of the Chair. In 1984 the Chair was led by the Candidate of Philological Sciences, Associate professor ShafarenkoY.Y. In 1999 the head of the foreign languages course was Levus G.P. From September 1, 2008 up to May 25, 2009 the Chair was led by Kaliyeva Aizhan Kairbekovna, candidate of philological sciences, associate professor. Between 2009-2011 the head of the Chair was Akhmetova Gulbanu Mergenovna, Master of Pedagogical sciences. From 2011 up to 2019 the head of the Chair was Kaliyeva Aizhan Kairbekovna.

The Chair of Philological disciplines originates from the Chairs of "Kazakh language" and "Latin and Russian languages". The foundation of the Chair of "Kazakh language" was laid in September 1990 with the beginning of teaching the Kazakh language at the Medical University.

In 1990-1992 the Chair was part of the Chair of Kazakh and Russian languages, but in June 1992 it acquired the status of the Chair of Kazakh language.

In 1990-1991 Head of the Chair of Russian and Latin languages was a senior teacher Shlyapova A.M.

In 1992-1997 Head of the Chair of "Kazakh language" was a senior teacher Doskenova K. A.

In 1997-1999 the Chair of "Kazakh language" was headed by the Candidate of Philological sciences, associate professor Kozhanov M.K.

In 1999 - 2001 the head of the Chair was K.A. Doskenova

In 2001 the language Chairs were merged and as a result, the Chair of Kazakh and Foreign Languages was formed - A. M. Shlyapova became the Head of the Chair; K. A. Doskenova - Head of the Kazakh language course.

In 2005-2007 the Chair of "Kazakh language" was headed by senior teacher Doskenova K. A.

In 2007 the Chair of "Kazakh language" was headed by the Candidate of Pedagogical sciences, associate professor Zharikova D.R.

Since 2014 the Chair of "Kazakh language" and the Chair of "Russian language and Latin languages" have been merged into the Chair of "Philological disciplines".

Since 2014 the Chair of "Philological disciplines" is headed by the Candidate of pedagogical sciences, Associate professor Zharikova D. R. Currently, the Chair employs 32 teachers and 1 laboratory assistant. The Chair carries out educational and methodological work.

From September 2019 there was a merger of two Chairs: "Chair of Philological Disciplines" and "Foreign Languages" and D.R. Zharikova, the Candidate of Pedagogical sciences, Associate professor was appointed the Head of the Chair.  

Activity

The Chair of Philological disciplines takes an active part in scientific and cultural life of the university. Teachers of the Chair take part in international, republic and university scientific conferences.

The Chair of philological disciplines takes great responsibility for public affairs.   

A special place in the history of the University is given to raising the status of the state language. The Chair is an integral part of the University policy on mastering the state language. Due to the set tasks the record keeping in the state language, systematic teaching of the Kazakh language to students of University became urgent.

Achievements

In 2011 the Head of Chair Zharikova D.R., senior teacher Shlyapova A.M. were awarded the badge "Kurmetti ustaz". Chair of Languages of Astana awarded the senior lecturers Doskenova K.A., Bekenova S.K. "Certificate of Honor" for many years of productive work. Teachers of the Chair have repeatedly been awarded with letters of gratitude.

In 2021 Kolyayeva Lyudmila Sergeyevna was awarded a certificate of honor by the Minister of Healthcare.

The Chair of "Philological disciplines" is on the way of continuous growth. At present the Chair of Philological disciplines employs teachers who knows their subject. There are 3 Candidates of sciences, 3 Associate professors, 18 Masters, 27 senior teachers, 2 teachers, 1 laboratory assistant.

The teachers of the Chair have published educational and methodical manuals, scientific articles are published annually. The teaching staff of the Chair prepares students for scientific conferences. Students take an active part in International, Republic and University scientific conferences.
