Didar Rymzhanovna has been working at the Astana Medical University since 1991. Since 2007, she has been the Head of the Chair of Philological disciplines.

Didar Rymzhanovna Zharikova was born in 1968 in Karkaralinsk town of Karaganda region.

In 1991 she graduated from the Philological faculty of Karaganda State University, specialty “Kazakh language and Kazakh literature”. After graduating from Karaganda State University she began her career as a teacher at Tselinograd State Medical University.

In 2010 she defended her thesis, she is a Candidate of Pedagogical sciences.

In 2007 she headed the Chair of Kazakh language.

 She was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Chair for the Development of Languages ​​of Astana city and the badge "Kurmetti Ustaz" for her contribution to the development of education and health care.

The most significant research work of Didar Rymzhanovna is the work "Shipagerlik bayan", dedicated to the issues of traditional medicine. She is the author of teaching aids "Kazakh tili", "Kazakh tilinen zhattyku zhumystary". A number of articles have been published on the pages of domestic and foreign press.

In December 2021 Didar Rymzhanovna was awarded a medal “Тәуелсіздікке 30 жыл”.

In 2021 Didar Rymzhanovna was awarded a medal “Күміс” for a long work.

     The primary mission of the Department of Philological Disciplines is to enhance the professional and pedagogical skills of faculty members, introduce innovative teaching methods into the educational process, and ensure the effective integration of academic and educational activities among students. Key objectives also include participation in scientific and methodological conferences and seminars, development of teaching and methodological materials for Kazakh, Russian and English languages conducting seminars, open classes and master classes as well as improving educational resources.

     The Department of Foreign Languages was established in 1964. The first head of the department at the Tselinograd Medical Institute was Serdyuk I.P. Over the years, the department was headed by L.P. Abramov, PhD in Philology; Associate Professor Y.Y. Shafarenko; G.P. Levus, PhD in Philology; Associate Professor A.K. Kaliyeva; and G.M. Akhmetova, Master of Pedagogical Sciences.

     The Department of Philological Disciplines traces its roots to the departments of Kazakh Language, Latin and Russian Language.

     In September 2019, the Departments of Philological Disciplines and Foreign Languages were merged. The current head of the department is Associate Professor D.R. Zharikova, PhD in Pedagogical Sciences.

     The Department of Philological Disciplines takes an active part in the scientific and cultural life of the university. Faculty members regularly participate in international, national, and university-level scientific conferences. The department plays a significant role in promoting the use of the state language and contributes to the university’s language policy. Special attention is given to the systematic instruction of Kazakh language and the implementation of state-language documentation procedures.<span style="color: #29323c;"><br>
