Akhmadyar Nurzhamal
Head of the department of Clinical pharmacology, the Doctor of Medical Science, clinical pharmacologist of the highest qualification category, independent expert of the MH RK.

Graduate of the medical faculty of the Karaganda State Medical Institute.

From 1991 to 1995 she worked as an assistant at the Department of Clinical Pharmacology at Alma Mater.

From 2001 to 2011 anesthesiologist-resuscitator of the National Scientific Medical Center, teacher of the Kazakh Medical Academy.

In 2010 she defended the degree of Doctor of Medical Sciences in 2 specialties: anesthesiology and resuscitation; pharmacology, clinical pharmacology.

She has certificates of a surgeon, an anesthesiologist-resuscitator.

For more than 10 years, she worked at JSC National Medical Holding and its clinics as a clinical auditor, the senior physician clinical pharmacologist, head of the department of drug therapy, chief manager of the care expertise department of the Corporate fund “University Medical Center” of Nazarbayev University.

In 2012, for the first time in Kazakhstan, she participated in the development, preparation and obtaining of an international accreditation standard JCI JSC "National Center for Motherhood and Childhood" medication use management, also authored guidelines for pain assessment, antibiotic prophylaxis, prevention of venous thrombosis, project on the safe use of cytostatic. She is the developer of clinical protocols of the MH RK and Nazarbayev University School of Medicine, as well as the regulations and standard of medical care in the profile "Clinical pharmacology".

In 2006 she graduated from the Karaganda State University named after E. А. Buketov with a degree in jurisprudence.

She studied in Israel, Great Britain, Japan, Scotland, Denmark.

Has 68 publications, including monograph-1; methodological recommendations - 2; journal articles - 48; patents - 2; theses - 18.

Since September 2019, she has been the head of the        department of Clinical Pharmacology of NJSC "Astana Medical University".

Social activity:

Head of the Formulary commission MH RK (2017).

Since 2018, she has been a member and head of the Formulary committee of the Joint commission for quality of the MH RK.

From 2019-2021 member of the Joint commission for quality of the MH RK.

Directions of scientific research work: anesthesiology, intensive therapy, antibiotic therapy and antibiotic prophylaxis, vein thrombosis, management of the use of medicines in medical organizations.

Formation story

The Department of Clinical Pharmacology and Pharmacotherapy was organized in 2011 as a result of the restructuring of the Department of General and Clinical Pharmacology. The department was headed by professor, doctor of medical sciences, doctor of the highest category in clinical pharmacology and cardiology Mazhitov Talgat Mansurovich. In 2014, the department was renamed the Department of Clinical Pharmacology of Internship, the head of the department was Associate Professor NK Dyusembaeva. In 2017 and 2018, "Clinical Pharmacology" was a course in the departments of General Pharmacology and Internal Medicine and Cardiology. Since September 2019, the Department of Clinical Pharmacology has been re-organized.

During the work of the department, 13 residents were trained in the specialty "Clinical Pharmacology", who are currently working in various public health organizations. Two master's theses were defended: Ihambaeva A.N. (head Mazhitov T.M.) and Iklasova F.B. (supervisor L.G. Makalkina).

Currently, the department trains 10 resident clinical pharmacologists and 1 doctoral student for a PhD degree and 1 master's degree student.

Goals

  1. Improving the teaching of clinical pharmacology through scientific and clinical activities.
  2. Optimization of information and methodological support of the educational process
  3. Continuous professional development of the teaching staff of the department

Activity

The department conducts training in the discipline "Clinical Pharmacology" in the specialties: general medicine, pediatrics, obstetrics and gynecology, GP (7th year), profiling related disciplines for residents of 1-2 years of study, undergraduates and doctoral students. Residency in the specialty "Clinical Pharmacology", Doctorate PhD and Master's degree in the specialty "Medicine".
