Today NJSC "Astana Medical University" was visited by Viktor Radzinsky, Doctor of Medical Sciences, Professor, Head of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology with a Perinatology Course of the Peoples' Friendship University of Russia. During the visit, V. Radzinsky held a lecture with students, residents and teachers of the university in an offline format with the possibility of online connection on the topic: "Reproduction and demography in the 21st century", at the lecture Viktor Evseevich presented modern aspects of family planning in order to preserve the reproductive health of women in the 21st century, the demographic situation, as well as reproductive education in modern society, is considered in detail. The meeting aroused a lively interest among the participants in the professional problems raised and independent search for ways to solve them.
Viktor Evseevich is an obstetrician-gynecologist, Honored Scientist of the Russian Federation, Honorary Worker of Higher Education, full member of the International Academy of Sciences of Higher Education and the Ukrainian Academy of Sciences. Radzinsky V.E., author of more than 350 scientific papers, including 28 monographs, 4 textbooks and 2 manuals. Under his leadership, 186 candidate and 43 doctoral dissertations were defended. The main areas of scientific activity: molecular biology and genetics of reproduction, perinatology, reconstructive plastic surgery in gynecology, has 30 years of teaching experience.
After the lecture, the professor visited the simulation center of the University, where he was given a sightseeing tour.
During the tour, Viktor Evseevich talked with the teaching staff, got acquainted with the conditions and material and technical equipment of the simulation rooms. Associate Professor of the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology No. 1 Galitskaya T.N. demonstrated to the guest a clinical scenario on a highly realistic robot-simulator "Lucina" for practicing obstetric skills, revealing the clinical possibilities introduced into the educational process.
At the end of the meeting, Radzinsky Viktor Evseevich highly appreciated the modern equipment of the simulation center, noted the high professional level of the university teachers and thanked the University staff for their trust and support, which plays an important role in the development of academic cooperation within the framework of such events, expands knowledge and contributes to the development of the healthcare sector.
