Did you know that our teachers share with their knowledge and are also in demand in other universities? According to established tradition, as part of the academic mobility program, teachers visit different medical universities with training seminars.

Thus, the head of the department of internal diseases with geriatrics course, PhD Smagulova Aliya Kurmanbekovna conducted 5 days training for 7th year interns of the clinical disciplines department in Higher School of Medicine of Sh. Ualikhanov Kokshetau University. Issues of differential diagnosis and treatment of heart defects, electrocardiography interpretation and arrhythmias management were discussed in depth.

Of particular interest was the lecture on the achievements of the arrhythmology in Kazakhstan. Our teacher’s knowledge impressed and created interested to the interns of Kokshetau that the idea arose of creating an interuniversity discussion club where we could continue discussing the most vital issues of medicine.

In addition to teaching activities, it was also possible to outline prospects for further cooperation and study the capabilities of the University’s simulation center. Particular attention was drawn to the technologies of using virtual reality (VR) and 3D models in the development and assessment of practical skills, as well as the library of virtual patients.

Such friendly visits of our teachers to the regions ensure the availability of the best knowledge for all students of medical universities in the country and significantly enrich the experience.
