At the Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov on the subject “Topographic human anatomy with operative surgery” from 06/10/2024 to 06/14/2024 held a summer school on the topic “Basic surgical skills”. Classes were held at the address - Saryarka Avenue 33, 2nd floor, room 213.

Summer school students received knowledge on basic surgical instruments and their use, suture material and rules for their use, types of surgical sutures and the technique of their application.

At the end of the summer school, students acquired basic surgical skills, in particular, students can name and show surgical instruments, identify a group of surgical instruments, and determine the purpose of a surgical instrument.

During the summer school, students practiced the skills of tying simple, marine and surgical knots. Trainees can load the needle into the needle holder and thread suture into the needle. They also acquired the skills of applying nodular and continuous sutures.

The relevance of the summer school topic is beyond doubt. During the analysis of topics, students actively asked questions.
