This was the first time such a program was organized at the postgraduate level. The participants included graduates of master's and residency programs, and practicing healthcare doctors. The event brought together aspiring doctoral students and researchers aiming to acquire the knowledge and skills necessary for successful scientific research.

During the training, the following topics were covered and mastered: developing the idea and concept of a study, research design, writing an abstract and protocol for future studies, mastering research methodology, and the basics of statistics.

The seminar was conducted in an interactive format, allowing participants to actively discuss the topics and apply the acquired knowledge in practice. Students prepared and presented future research protocols, enhancing their skills in planning and conducting scientific work.

As part of the Summer School, Damir Ildarovich Marapov, Candidate of Medical Sciences and Associate Professor at Kazan State Medical University (Ministry of Healthcare of Russia) conducted a webinar on “Possibilities of Stattech in the Analysis of Research Data.” Participants gained valuable insights into data processing and interpretation, which will benefit their future scientific projects.

We hope that the knowledge and skills acquired will foster the academic development of the students and help them successfully pursue doctoral studies. The Summer School was a significant step towards their professional growth and development as researchers.
