From July 1 to July 12, 2024, 4th and 5th-year students of the specialty "General Medicine" from Vitebsk State Order of Friendship of Peoples Medical University successfully completed their clinical internship in therapy at the Department of General Medical Practice with a course in Evidence-Based Medicine, as well as at the Department of Surgical Diseases, Bariatric Surgery, and Neurosurgery at Astana Medical University as part of the academic mobility program.

The program involved 10 students who gained valuable experience and knowledge in modern therapy and evidence-based medicine. The internship included working with patients, participating in diagnostic and treatment processes under the guidance of experienced mentors, and mastering advanced treatment and diagnostic methods.

The academic mobility program is aimed at exchanging knowledge and experience between medical educational institutions, which contributes to the improvement of student training and the strengthening of international cooperation in the field of medicine.

As part of the exchange of experience, students were given the opportunity to visit the Museum of Astana Medical University and the University's Simulation Center.
