Astana Medical University announces that, in accordance with Order No. 673 dated August 5, 2024, issued by the Chairman of the Higher Education Quality Assurance Committee of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the international peer-reviewed scientific and practical journal "Astana Medical Journal" has been included in the list of publications recommended by the Committee.

The "Astana Medical Journal," established in 1998, is a multidisciplinary publication with several key objectives: to stimulate scientific and innovative activity; to disseminate information on research and innovative achievements in the field of medical science and education both within Kazakhstan and internationally; to facilitate the discussion of scientific issues and potential solutions; and to contribute to the development of a scientific and clinical worldview among the academic community, faculty members, practicing physicians, healthcare professionals, and government officials of the Republic of Kazakhstan. The journal actively promotes the principles of evidence-based practice through the presentation of new scientific results in medicine and medical education.

All manuscripts submitted to the "Astana Medical Journal" undergo a “double-blind” peer review process.

The journal's editorial board invites reviewers and authors interested in publishing their research findings to collaborate regularly.
