In accordance with the objectives of the strategic development of our University for the promotion of scientific activities and international cooperation, Professor of the Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov ­ Marina Kubenovna Zhanalieva was sent from September 3 to 8, 2024 to participate in the 21st Congress of the International Federation of Associations of Anatomists IFAA in Gwangju, South Korea. The IFAA Congress is the largest scientific event in morphological sciences with the participation of scientists from all continents, held in different countries every five years.

At the 21st IFAA Congress, Marina Kubenovna Zhanalieva successfully represented the Republic of Kazakhstan, introducing to the participants 2 scientific reports, prepared by the scientists of the Department of Human Anatomy named after A.B. Aubakirov, on the study of the immune system of cavital organs. Abstracts of the IFAA 2024 Congress reports are published in the journal Anatomy & Cell Biology, included in the Scopus database. During participation in the Congress, opportunities for further cooperation with leading morphologists from different continents on issues of educational and scientific activities, scientific and technical support of the University were discussed.
