On October 8, 2024, at 8:00 PM, a psychological training on the topic “Wheel of Emotions” was held in the dormitory located at Zhenis Avenue 35 for 1st-year students. Approximately 35 participants attended the event.

The goal of the training: to familiarize the students with basic concepts such as “emotions,” “types of emotions,” “emotional intelligence,” and to master techniques for managing emotional states and developing emotional intelligence.

Objectives of the event:

1.       Introduce participants to the concepts of “emotions,” “feelings,” “emotional intelligence,” and “emotional state.”

2.       Teach them to identify their own emotions and understand the causes of their emergence.

3.       Practice emotion management techniques.

In addition, a meeting was held with 1st-year students majoring in “Dentistry,” group 124, at NpJSC “Astana Medical University” located at Saryarka Avenue 33.

The goal of the meeting: to familiarize students with the work of the psychological service and conduct a team-building training. Participants discussed issues of adapting to the new educational environment and studying in their chosen specialty. Prospects for personal and professional development were also discussed, and students received support in these areas.

During the training sessions, students actively shared valuable insights from their experiences. They talked about the challenges they face in interacting with the group and mastering new disciplines. Participants also shared instances when they encountered negative emotions and discussed the strategies they use to cope with them. The exchange of personal experiences helped create a more trusting atmosphere and allowed each participant to realize the importance of managing emotions in daily life.
