On October 30, 2024, at 8:00 PM, a psychological training session titled “The Wheel of Emotions” was held in the dormitory at 35 Zhenis Avenue, with 10 participants in attendance. The purpose of the training was to introduce techniques for managing emotional states and to develop emotional intelligence.
Training Objectives:
• Introduce participants to concepts such as “emotions,” “feelings,” “emotional intelligence,” and “emotional state.”
• Teach participants to identify their own emotions and understand their causes.
• Practice emotion management techniques.
Training Results:
During the training, participants became familiar with the basic concepts of emotional intelligence theory, learned to identify their emotions and understand the causes, and mastered emotion management techniques, including the “Emotion Indicator” method.
The “Emotion Indicator” method helped participants assess their emotional state based on two key components: positivity (pleasantness of emotions) and energy level. This method promotes a comfortable emotional environment in the group, develops skills in identifying and managing emotions, enhances communication skills, and encourages responsible decision-making.
At the end of the training, participants learned practical techniques for managing emotions and stress, including the body-oriented mindfulness technique “Body Scan,” which helps reduce stress and restore emotional balance. All participants actively engaged in the exercises and received answers to their questions.
