Event: From June 9 to 13, 2025, NpJSC «Astana Medical University» will host a series of lectures and master classes with the invited international expert Dr. Larisa Eduardovna Zavalishina, Doctor of Biological Sciences, Professor of the Department of Pathological Anatomy at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education (RMANPO), Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation. This event is held within the framework of academic mobility.

About the Speaker:

Since 2010, Larisa Eduardovna Zavalishina has held the position of Professor of the Department of Pathological Anatomy at the Russian Medical Academy of Continuing Professional Education.

Main Areas of Activity:

• Conducting advanced training courses for pathologist-anatomists;
• Training in immunohistochemical methods and in situ hybridization techniques;
• Workshops on the study of companion pharmacodiagnostic markers and their application in cancer diagnostics.

Scientific Activity:

- Author of more than 250 scientific publications in national and international journals;

- Co-author of 7 practical manuals, 2 patents, 5 medical technologies, and the Clinical Guidelines for Breast Cancer by the Ministry of Health of the Russian Federation;

- Supervised 5 PhD dissertations.
