Astana Medical University announces the start of admissions for Technical and Vocational Education (TVE) and Post-Secondary Education programs for the 2026–2027 academic year.
For the first time in the university’s history, enrollment has been opened for Technical and Vocational Education and Post-Secondary Education programs aimed at training mid-level healthcare professionals for the practical healthcare system. Previously, the university offered only higher and postgraduate education programs.
The new educational programs have been developed in accordance with the needs of the healthcare sector and are focused on preparing competitive specialists with strong practical professional competencies. The training follows a practice-oriented approach, providing students with early involvement in clinical practice at healthcare institutions.

Admission Requirements
Applicants eligible for enrollment must possess one of the following:
General secondary education;
Technical and vocational education;
Post-secondary education;
Higher education.
Mode of Study
- Full-time.
Entrance Examinations
Applicants must first complete a psychometric assessment. Only those who successfully pass the psychometric test will be admitted to the entrance examinations.
Entrance examinations will be conducted at the university in the form of computer-based testing in the following subjects:
Biology;
Chemistry.
Information regarding the dates of the psychometric assessment, entrance examinations, and examination schedule will be announced additionally by the Admissions Committee of Astana Medical University NJSC.
Application Submission Period
Applications will be accepted to August 5, 2026.
Documents must be submitted to the Admissions Committee of Astana Medical University NJSC.
Required Documents
1. Application addressed to the Chairman of the Board – Rector of the University;
2. Original education certificate/diploma;
3. Identity card (original and copy);
4. Six photographs (3×4 cm);
5. Medical certificate (Form 075/u), fluorography image, and a copy of Form 063/u;
6. Certificate confirming completion of the psychometric assessment.
Applicants with Group I or II disabilities, as well as persons with disabilities since childhood, must additionally provide a Medical and Social Expertise (MSE) conclusion in Form 031/u.
