Experts from Kazakhstan and abroad will discuss prospects for interdisciplinary cooperation between osteopathy and traditional medicine at Astana Medical University.
On September 4, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference titled “Modern Aspects of Interdisciplinary Interaction between Osteopathy and Traditional Medicine” will be held. The event will bring together scientists, physicians, university faculty members, medical students and representatives of the professional community to discuss modern approaches to maintaining and restoring health.
The conference will serve as a platform for professional dialogue on the integration of different medical approaches, scientific research into applied methods, and the development of new areas of interdisciplinary cooperation.
The speakers will include leading specialists in medicine and osteopathy, representatives of Kazakhstan’s scientific and academic community, as well as Pierre Vey, Director of the Osteopathy Center in France, who has been invited as an international expert.
The conference programme will feature scientific presentations, a roundtable discussion and practical master classes. Participants will discuss modern methods and approaches, prospects for scientific research in osteopathy and traditional medicine, the training of specialized professionals, and opportunities for further development of this field within the healthcare system.
Particular attention will be paid to establishing a scientific and practical framework for interdisciplinary cooperation and strengthening professional collaboration.
Following the conference, the participants are expected to adopt a joint memorandum aimed at systematizing and further developing scientific and practical cooperation in the field of osteopathy and traditional medicine.
