The Center for Youth Affairs and Sports of Astana Medical University held a 5+1 football tournament for the Rector's Cup among men within the framework of the month dedicated to the International Day against Drug Addiction and Illicit Drug Trafficking.

24 teams from among students of all courses and faculties, as well as university staff, were actively preparing for the tournament, all were aimed at winning.

About 200 people took part in the tournament, it can rightly be called a "friendship tournament" among the participants not only Kazakhstanis, but also natives of Uzbekistan, India, Jordan and other countries.

In the intense struggle for victory following the results of the competition, the FC Galaction team became the owners of the MUA Rector's Cup. The second place was taken by the Anti-Hype team. FC Legion team took the third place.
