N.A. Maltabarova is a graduate in pediatric faculty of Alma-Ata State Medical Institute named after S.D. Asfendiarov. After graduation in 1992 she entered clinical residency at the Chair of Pediatric Surgery with a course of anesthesiology and resuscitation of ASMI. Training in clinical residency was completed in 1994 and in the same year Maltabarova N.A. enters full-time postgraduate study at the Scientific Centre of Pediatric Surgery and Pediatrics. After finishing her post-graduate studies she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Medical Sciences in specialty areas 14.00.35 - Pediatric Surgery, and 14.00.37 - Anaesthesiology and Resuscitation. During her clinical residency and postgraduate studies, she was engaged in practical activity as an anaesthesiologist and resuscitator. After the completion of training in graduate school she worked as a physician-anesthesiologist-resuscitator of the Chair of anesthesiology, resuscitation and intensive care of the Scientific Centre of Children's Surgery and Pediatrics, City Children's Hospital № 1, Almaty. n 1998 Maltabarova N.A. by the invitation of the head of chair of anesthesiology and resuscitation Lysenkov S.P., was transferred to Akmola city and was accepted to work as assistant of chair of anesthesiology-resuscitation of KazSMA. While working as an assistant to the department, she carried out medical work on the basis of City Children's Hospital ¹ 2 in Akmola. Akmola, subsequently renamed in Astana. Therapeutic work was carried out in Chair of anesthesiology, reanimation and intensive therapy. The recognition of professionalism and diligence of Maltabarova N.A., as basic qualities of specialist, was the order of the head of Health Chair on Astana in 2000 year about her assignment as main freelance children anesthesiologist- intensive care doctor of Astana. This public workload was carried out until 2005.
N. A. Maltabarova, working as an assistant in the department, was responsible for teaching and educational and methodological work of the department. In this direction also she had successed, which were noted by the leadership of the university, and in 2004, Nurila Amangalievna headed the teaching-methodological Chair of the university. Subsequently, the teaching and methodological Chair was reorganized into teaching and methodical department, with the subsequent renaming into the Chair of quality control of the educational process. Throughout her methodological work, she headed the department. Nurila Amangalievna Maltabarova together with the staff of the university implemented SES in 2003, 2005 and 2006. Under her leadership together with the Head of Quality Management Chair the implementation of quality management system in the university was carried out. To continue her scientific work, in 2007-2008 academic year Maltabarova N.A. was transferred to the position of Associate Professor at the Chair of Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine, renamed in 2014 to the Chair of SNP and Anesthesiology and Critical Care Medicine. From 2013 to 2016, she held the position of Professor in the Department. In 2017. N.A. Maltabarova became Head of the Chair of Emergency Medicine and Anaesthesiology, Intensive Care Medicine.
N.A. Maltabarova was awarded the title of "The best lecturer of Astana Medical University in clinical departments for 2015-2016 academic year" based on the results of student questionnaires.
Her research interests include current issues of nutritional support for patients in critical condition. Maltabarova N.A. was one of the first in Kazakhstan to introduce the use of specialised foods to correct metabolic disorders in children with burn disease.
N.A. Maltabarova is constantly engaged in professional development. As part of her professional development she studied at the University of South Florida (USA, South Florida, Tampa), Tel Aviv University, Soraski Medical Center (Israel). In September 2017, she was trained in cardiopulmonary resuscitation according to international standards (BLS, ACLS).
Under the guidance of the Head of Chair Maltabarova N.A. in 2018 successfully defended doctoral dissertations (PhD) Zhumabayev M.B., Irimbetov S.B., Lee T.A. Research studies are devoted to the issues of systemic inflammatory response in ischemic strokes (Zhumabaev M.B.), nutritive support in preoperative period in patients with malignant neoplasms of GIT (Irimbetov S.B.), issues of intensive therapy of bronchopulmonary dysplasia in young children (Lee T.A.) . Completed doctoral training Bulatova E.Y. on the topic: Assessment of the effectiveness of early diagnosis of sepsis in children in the first year of life in the Chair of anaesthesiology, intensive care and reanimation.
